Harrison pushes new limits

John Harrison secured back to back handicap wins with a second consecutive massive PB improving by nearly a minute over just two weeks. John took another 35 seconds off his best time this week to win the handicap from Bob Pisolkar (PB, VTTA winner and 2nd Open TT) and Debbie Coyle (PB, Female TT winner, and 2nd VTTA).

Will Barlow sits top of the Season handicap table ahead of 2nd place brother Fred. Will won the juniors this week, and Fred came tantalisingly close to joining the 24 min club (road bike) hitting 25.00 (PB) and winning the Open Road Bike. The highest handicap averages though still sit with Pete Dyer and Paul Looke, but with many events needed, it is Isabel Beale from John Butcher and Fred Barlow that have both the averages and rides to make them favourites at this point.

Sarah Wenham won the female road bike (PB) - Doug King and Gary Charles rode PBs too.

Simon Ginger, who is showing consistent and impressive form - breaking into Shaftesbury’s ‘A-Team’ in CTTs Tribes - won the Open TT in the fastest time of the night. Also in the A-Team is Ramsey Kechacha, whose plan didn’t come together as he registered another DNF, and for what it’s worth would top that table if we had one.
