Barlow battles Beale
Fred Barlow v. Olly Beale has ever increasing MVDP v. WVA vibes about it - each just getting better and pushing the other on. This week Fred edged it by just 11 seconds while taking the Open Road Bike win.
Debbie Coyle returned refreshed from her sun lounger to show off her tan from top of the VTTA and Female TT podiums, with Sarah Wenham taking more max points in the Road Bike. Louise Robinson was away updating club legend Claire Lee’s 10 record - meanwhile CTT’s new tribes recognised these Shaftesbury women among the very best group in the country.
Sam Thienel (Elysium Kalas Racing) (who is really just out on loan for a few years as far as we are concerned), the 2nd claim SCC rider, was flying as fastest overall.
PBs went to John Harrison (1st handicap), Mark Thurlow, and Martin Cooper.
Phil Hodey continued his meteoric rise with first place in the club Open TT in a tight finish.
