Title chases approach crescendo

Andrew Wenham continued his top form to ride to wins in the Open TT by 5 seconds. And the Vets TT win by 1 second… #1 Why Try Harder? Andrew has the Open TT title all but secured and looks good for the Vets crown too.

Gary Charles took yet another handicap win with yet another PB. He closes in on John Butcher’s 467 points to within two points on 465, but Debbie Coyle is not out of it on 460. Debbie has the Female TT title secured, and Sarah Wenham (pictured) has the Female Road Bike in the bag - both won their events on the night. Debbie has 499 to Sarah’s 492 in a yet to be decided Female Handicap competition.

Scott Beard held off Mark Thurlow for the road bike win, Mark’s points look good for second in the competition but Fred Barlow seems to have done enough for that Vipers 10 title.
